2008 China International Software and Information Service Outsourcing Summit fell on June 20

The 4th China International Software and Information Service Outsourcing Summit fell on June 20, 2008 at Dalian World Expo Center, China. The summit is sponsored by China International Software & Information Service Fair Committee and organized by Dalian Municipal Government. The themes of the Summit are to examine the different strategies leading to both the quality and scale of expansion of the outsourcing service industry in China, display the full support from the Ministry of Commerce, including analysis and preferential policies, create the Win-Win, mutual success through cooperation, in-depth analyze the approaches to improve core competitiveness and strategies of outsourcing development and to solve the talent bottleneck problem of the service outsourcing industry in China’s new economy. 

At present, China is shifting its role from “Made in China” to “Service in China” and the government attaches great importance to the development of the modern service industries-green industries, so as to promote China’s second economic “takeoff”. 

Now in its fourth year, the 2008 China International Software and Information Service Outsourcing Summit continued its success by inviting officials from policy-making authorities and attracting clients and service providers , from home and abroad, to analyze the current status of the international service outsourcing industry. Mr. Hu Jingyan, Director General of Department of Trade in Services, Ministry of Commerce attended the Summit and delivered a speech to state support for greatly developing service outsourcing industry. Other guest speakers include Mr. Michael F. Corbett, Chairman of IAOP, Mr. Gao Wei, President of Dalian Software Park, Dr. Alex Peng, Principal of McKinsey, Mr. Xu Qi Chang, AMS Leader, IBM Global Business Services, China, Mr. Wang Xinjie, GM & Senior ISMS Consultant, Peking Knowledge Security Engineering Center and Mr. Benny Xian, COO and Co-Founder of BeyondCore.
