From January to June in this year, the actually utilization of foreign fund of Hebei amounted to USD 1.55 billion among which foreign business investment attraction was USD 1.5 billion , a increase of 38.3% and 36.9% over last year respectively. Newly approved foreign enterprises amounted to 191, equal to same period in last year. Newly approved contract foreign investment was up to USD 1.31 billion, an increase of 121.2%. Newly registered foreign enterprises were 169 with total registered foreign capital of USD 1.01 billion, an increase 0.6% and 104.1% over last year. A strong increase of foreign fund utilization indicators of Hebei and sound development momentum show up.
