Yunnan Province's foreign trade hit US$4.45 billion

Yunnan Province's foreign trade hit US$4.45 billion for the first five months, up 34.5 percent for the year, and ranking the province 22nd in China. Exports were US$2.05 billion, rising 20.5 percent for the year; imports were US$2.4 billion, rising 49.5 percent.

Copper ore, iron ore, sulphur and electromechanical products are the four major bulk products whose imports exceeded US$100 million yuan, accounting for the majority of the province's total imports.
