Recently, Tasly Group, Zhejiang University and Tianjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine established "Tianjin Component Chinese Medicine Technology Engineering Center", and the world-largest natural drugs component base located in Tianjin.
The base deposits 10,661 Chinese medicine components and 235 compounds, and owns a largest digital Chinese medicine information database, which will provide solid support on China's modern Chinese medicine development.
Reports showed that, research of active compounds is a very important content in the modernization of traditional Chinese medicine.
Project manager Chen Yiyu said that, the establishment of the database would provide a very important resource platform for China's development of modern Chinese medicine.
